Hi All!

So it's Halloween night and I'm the designated candy-giver-outer! Blah. Sean is toting around Lauren and Anthony and HOPEFULLY loving every minute of it. This is Anthony's first real trick-or-trick outing. He went to maybe 5 houses last year and wasn't really into it tonight but then two of his little friends showed up and they all went together. Three 3 yr olds boys w/ two little siblings under 1, and I think 4 or so parents. Too Funny! Hopefully it'll go great! They haven't come back yet so all must be well. We got a picture of the three boys (Anthony, Will, and Ryan) so hopefully I'll get it posted soon.

Ok, so it's 7:20 and I'm already running low on candy. Geez! Love to all!

Hi Mindy - welcome to Blogger. I have a new blog for my quilting here too - http://mamanance.blogspot.com/

Wish we had some of your visitors tonight - we were ready with a pumpkin out, lights on, candy ready to distribute --- and had no one! You can see our pictures of the pumpkin, and the carver, on our Flickr page - http://www.flickr.com/photos/mamanance/

We had only a few halloween visitors last night. I was expecting some of my senior friends who seem juvenile just like me. We did not dress up, but I told your Mom that we would next year. Sean got the treat, taking the kids treating and sometimes tricking. Your Mom made me do both!!! Of course, when you dress up and try to scare the kids when you open the door, that can be lots of fun too! Sean probably couldn't decide what he wanted to be, except himself, which could be scary! ha In Kingsport, we used the organ set on automatic, or sometimes Wade (when he was there) playing it with halloween sounds, and had dry ice in water around the candy at the door. The kids were scared to reach for any candy!! Of course, they would see your Mom dressed up and would be scared from that!! I was!!! lots of funnies.... Now, Mom looks huggie when wearing the pirates' outfit. Wow!

save me some candy!
Love, DAD
